About Tom

Providing specialist personal training for brain and spinal cord injury rehabilitation working as part of multi-disciplinary teams in private healthcare. Tom specialises in an empowerment based approach to training, supporting the client to improve strength, conditioning, mobility and quality of movement as they progress back towards increasing physical activity and possibly a return to sports or interests, whilst keeping in mind the particular needs as a result of their injuries, and working closely with other professionals, especially neurological and musculoskeletal physiotherapists.

More About Tom

Our Core Values

We are guided by principles that shape every aspect of our care and training. Here’s what drives us:

People focussed

Fitness and healthcare are service not product based industries. It should never be about a ‘system’ but always be about the individual.

Integrity

Inter-disciplinary working and referring out to a relevant profession where needed ensures you will always receive the best support possible. After all, it’s about you not me.

Flexibility

We’re humans not robots and we all have a myriad of different characteristics and considerations. An exercise or activity is simply a tool to create an effect and there’s always another tool in the box.

Sustainability (Future-Proofing)

I truly believe that any exercise intervention can only truly be considered successful if you’re able to sustain it for the rest of your life.
